OMHA congratulates Brian Stittle on his contribution to Ontario Red’s team victory at the U18 National Women’s Championship

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association would like to congratulate Brian Stittle on his contribution to Ontario Red’s team victory at the U18 National Women’s Championship held November 4-8 in Huntsville, ON. Stittle served as team trainer for the undefeated provincial representative.

Ontario Red held a 1-0 lead through 40 minutes in the championship game until the 7:15 mark of the third when Jaedon Cooke jumped on a big bounce off the boards and buried the rebound to tie the game on what was the team's lone shot of the period.

Regulation solved nothing and for the third time in tournament history, overtime would decide a national champion. At the 18:10 mark, captain Lindsay Agnew fired home the game-winner. Stephanie Neatby made 16 saves for Ontario Red.

Stittle has been OMHA Chair of the Trainers Committee since 2014 and has been a long time Master Course Conductor/contributor to the Head Trainer Certification Program in the OMHA. Stittle  has a lengthy record of service as a team trainer at the Minor, Junior, and University levels.
