On behalf of the 20 Member Teams of the Ontario Hockey League, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd Annual U14 OHL Cup presented by Dairy Farmers of Ontario and hosted by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association.
 
The OHL and its member teams are committed to the growth and continued development of minor hockey across the province of Ontario. Your season of hard work, perseverance and dedication culminates in this championship showcase that will be sure to create lifelong memories for you and your family.
 
The OHL is proud to partner with the OMHA to present this exciting opportunity, and we look forward to an outstanding weekend of hockey as the event moves east to Kingston this year. Occurring annually since 2003, the OHL Cup Showcase for U16 AAA players has included familiar names such as Connor McDavid, John Tavares and Steven Stamkos, in addition to countless players that have played in the OHL and gone on to pursue various careers with the use of their OHL Scholarship. 
  
To all of the players competing for the championship this week, show your talent, respect your competition and above all, enjoy the experience! Please take the time to thank your parents, coaches and friends for their tremendous support of your development journey through this great game.
 
In closing, a special thank you to Mr. Craig Lane, Mr. Ian Taylor and the great staff at the Ontario Minor Hockey Association for their partnership in this very special event. The Ontario Hockey League is very proud to be a part of presenting a championship tournament of this magnitude to the U14 AAA category.
