Congrats to the Windsor Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires captured the Memorial Cup on Sunday evening with a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Erie Otters in the championship game.

Congrats to all nine OMHA grads on the Spitfires for capturing the Memorial Cup!

With a 3-0 record in the round robin play, the Spitfires automatically clinched their spot in the finals. The Otters won a play-in game on Friday evening with the winner moving on to take on the Spitfires in the winner-take-all game.

The Memorial Cup is a four-team tournament comprised of the champions from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League as well as the host city.
