He is confident with his puck handling and skills, allowing him to continually keep his head up and scan for open space and open teammates. Foley exploits what he is given and any open ice he will make you pay with a threaded pass. This awareness and skill level will be a handful for opponents going forward.

Callum Croskery (Oakville Rangers): One of the top defenders in this age group for a reason. He is able to control the game every time he is on the ice. This can be done because he can retrieve and breakout pucks so well which limits the time his team is in their zone. Skating up the ice he compliments the rush and joins the attack and this helps make their team dangerous in transition. When the play set up in the offensive zone or when they are on powerplays, he shows his poise, knowing how to draw in defenders so he can open up passing and shooting lanes.

A strong cohort of teams keep their spots in the Top 5 but see some movement in their positioning.

Tate Collins (Markham Waxers): A versatile and skilled two-way forward who clearly places a strong emphasis on both offensive and defensive aspects of the game. His exceptional skating abilities, characterized by speed and agility, allow him to navigate the ice effectively. With a high hockey IQ, he consistently makes intelligent plays, showcasing a strategic understanding of the game. Collins is comfortable in possession and adept at making plays. On the defensive end, he excels in backchecking, demonstrating a commitment to both ends of the rink. Tate is a valuable asset to his team, contributing in various ways to elevate their performance on the ice.

Vincent Piccone (Guelph Jr. Gryphons): A formidable two-way defenceman, seamlessly transitioning between offensive and defensive roles on the ice. His precise first pass jump-starts the team's offense and underscores his crucial role in maintaining possession. Adept at protecting the puck and maintaining an optimal defensive gap, he neutralizes threats effectively. Beyond his on-ice skills, Piccone emerges as a motivating leader, showcasing a rare talent for controlling the game's pace.
