The Hockey Trainer Certification Program [HTCP] is a risk management and safety education program for the volunteer hockey trainer. The ultimate goal of the program is to have all Hockey Trainers implement effective risk management on their own teams, where safety is the first priority at all times, both on and off the ice.
The OHA is offering two opportunities for trainers to earn (or re-certify) their Level 3 certification in 2024.
Saturday, May 11th - 9am-5pm at Sixteen Mile Recreation Centre in Oakville
Saturday, September 21st - 9am-5pm at RIM Park Recreation Centre in Waterloo
Participants will be required to hold valid Level 2 certification to be accepted into the clinic.
The fee for this event is $100.00 per person for re-certification (morning) and $150.00 per person for certification (full day). Payment will be due upon registration.
