RICHMOND HILL, Ontario – The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) are pleased to announce this season’s 40 minor hockey association recipients of a set of brand new goalie equipment as part of the “OMHA IBAO Goalie Assist Program”. 75 applications were accepted.
The OMHA IBAO Goalie Assist Program is an effort to support children who have dreams of becoming a hockey goaltender, by providing a set of hockey goaltending equipment to 5-7 year old players interested in trying the position. In addition, the IBAO will provide minor hockey associations with goaltending resources to aid coaches.

This program will also help the local Minor Hockey Associations by providing them with goaltender resources to assist their coaches and in providing these young goalies with the best coaching available. This program can only be viewed as a win win for everyone.”
