This years version of the Novice A Winterhawks took on the challenge put down by their Head Coach, the challenge, to shoot 100,000 pucks.  

The boys took the challenge head on and as of the last week of August put in just shy of 107,000 shots.  The coaching staff was hoping to have all the boys increase their accuracy and speed of shots.  The hard work over the entire summer looks to be paying off as the team has started out 2 - 0 in exhibition play with a total of 10 goals.
