The Ontario Minor Hockey Association’s Trainers Program is pleased to announce a new, exciting and interactive program for Trainers across the OMHA at all levels.
The ACTION Clinic was created as an ongoing education opportunity for HTCP certified Trainers to discuss important topics such as an effective Emergency Action Plan (EAP), identification of serious injuries, proper fitting equipment, Concussion and Return to Play guidelines.
The ACTION Clinic also serves as a forum for Trainers to discuss trends, issues and specific situations they have experienced in their role as a Trainer.
“The OMHA has a long history of providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. The ACTION clinic is our latest initiative to support those in the role of the Trainer. This course, along with our Regional Safety Leaders, will ensure that we maintain that high standard,” said Tony Caravaggio, Chair of the Trainers Program.
The ACTION Clinic is three (3) hours in length can be booked by minor hockey associations at no cost.
Interested associations can contact Ian Taylor to book a clinic.
