Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Remain on Top of Minor Midget AAA Rankings

Richmond Hill, ON – The Ontario Minor Hockey Association has released the second edition of the Minor Midget AAA Top 5 Rankings for the 2013-14 regular season.  The Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs started the season off very strong and have continued their torrid pace into the second edition of the top 5 rankings, remaining undefeated capturing the London Green and White Tournament along the way.  The Southern Tier Admirals have vaulted themselves into the number two spot after putting together a few wins since the last ranking.  Buffalo has dropped one spot to three, while the South Central Coyotes coming off a big win against Whitby are fourth and Ajax/Pickering rounds out the top five.

Players to Watch:

Matthew Hotchkiss (Whitby Wildcats) – Matthew is a big bodied forward with high end puck skills.  Hotchkiss has the potential to take a game into his own hands at any point giving his team a chance to win every night.  He is a goal scorer and has done so this season scoring seven goals in as many games, including a hat trick against Oshawa on October 5th.

Mitchell Mendonca (Southern Tier Admirals) – Mendonca is a highly skilled playmaker with great vision making him a threat for opposing teams from the offensive blue line in.  Mitchell has the ability to create plays for himself and for his team mates and will put up good numbers for the Admirals this season.  
 
Tyler Nother (Halton Hurricanes) – Tyler is a big two way defenseman that makes himself very noticeable every time you see the Hurricanes play.  Measured at 6’4”, Tyler moves around the ice very well and uses his size and reach to shut down attacking players.  Nothers is used by his coaches in all situations and has contributed with four points in seven games while shutting down other teams top players
