Hometown Hockey Magazine Fall 2013 Edition Now Available

This past summer the Hockey Canada Board passed a motion to create a national standard moving the introduction age of Body Checking from Peewee to Bantam effective the 2013-2014 season. In the season’s first issue of Hometown Hockey Magazine, Paul Carson Hockey Canada's Vice President of Hockey Development discusses the renewed focus put on Developing Checking Skills and what this means for minor hockey.

In the newly created Behind the Scenes section, Hometown Hockey magazine has your exclusive look inside the Hockey Hall of Fame Archives. Endless sticks, jerseys, trophies, old video footage and hidden gems are all preserved while not on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Hometown Hockey also reviews the latest hockey video game, NHL 14 and looks back at the best hockey video games of all time. The magazine takes an in depth look at the hottest sticks for the 2013-2014 season, discusses Goalie Sabermetrics, and looks at Developing Coordination in Young Hockey Players.
