Encourage forwards to protect the puck by gaining body position
Description
F will line up at the hashmark with the D lining up just inside of them.
1 F and 1 D will start low in the corner with the F facing the boards and the D on his back.
The first F in line will put a puck down the boards to the F in the drill.
Once collecting the puck on the wall, the F will work to get to the net by driving up the wall and creating contact with the D before turning back down the wall driving to the net.
The F should cut through the D hands to create space for a shot on net.
As the D, try to contain the F on the wall. You want to keep them in front of you while leading them with your stick.
Switch sides to have player get reps going in the either direction.
