As a family who joined the Honeywood community after 2020, we have experienced firsthand the warmth, inclusivity, and passion that make this community so special. From the moment our children started in Honeywood, we were welcomed with open arms—not just by other families, but by the entire community. The kindness and support shown to us as newcomers made us feel like we belonged right away. Hockey has become a cornerstone of our lives here. Attending games and practices at the Honeywood arena is more than a pastime—it’s where lifelong memories are made, friendships are forged, and the true spirit of community comes alive. Watching our children develop not only their skills on the ice but also their confidence and team work has been incredibly rewarding and it’s all thanks to the unwavering dedication of the people of this town.
The Honeywood arena is so much more than a building—it’s the heart and soul of our community. For our family, it’s where our children learned the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. It’s where they’ve celebrated victories, learned from losses, and grown both as athletes and individuals. For the community, the arena is a gathering place that unites people of all ages and backgrounds. It’s where lifelong friendships are formed, where cheering for the Honeywood Hurricanes becomes a shared tradition, and where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Whether it’s early morning practices, Friday night games, or community events hosted at the arena, this space brings us together in ways that extend far beyond the ice. The arena also represents resilience and pride. Maintained with the dedication of volunteers and community support, it’s a symbol of Honeywood’s unwavering commitment to preserving the spirit of hockey for future generations.
