Virtual reality training tool used by over 200,000 hockey players globally

NHL Sense Arena, a virtual reality training tool used by over 200,000 hockey players globally, and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), the largest minor hockey association in the world, have partnered to bring a new development program to goalies and players across the province.

As the Official VR Hockey Training Tool of the OMHA, Sense Arena has revolutionized off-ice hockey training through immersive VR hockey simulation. Players and goalies can enhance their skills with hundreds of position-specific drills and game-like scenarios. Turn any space into a virtual rink and improve key cognitive skills. The NHL Sense Arena platform can help players warm up before a game, get additional game reps, and gain a competitive edge.

Sense Arena will have a significant presence in the OMHA’s AAA League, including the presenting sponsorship of the U15 AAA Showcase. They will also be active in other signature OMHA events, including Championships, All-Star Games, and more.

Sense Arena and OMHA's partnership will kick off with activations at two events this season: the OMHA Championships in Kingston from March 28-30 and the U14 OHL Cup from April 17-19.

"We are deeply committed to fostering hockey development in Canada for goalies and players of all ages, beginning with Ontario,” said Andrew Alberts, Sense Arena Hockey Development Director and NHL vet. “We are excited to collaborate with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, an outstanding organization in the region, to make a substantial and positive impact on the sport's future together. The OMHA's dedication to excellence aligns perfectly with our mission to support and nurture young hockey players across the province."

“The NHL Sense Arena platform provides real-time feedback and coaching for players and offers another avenue to improve their skills,” said Ian Taylor, Executive Director of the OMHA. “Players today are accustomed to learning through a screen, and Sense Arena is a great fit to bring that approach to hockey development.”

OMHA families are encouraged to check their inboxes and social channels for exclusive offers and news on this exciting new partnership. For those ready to get started now, use code OMHA50 to save on an annual license for NHL Sense Arena.
