The holiday season is a time to celebrate family and community. Teams across the OMHA have been finding ways to give back during this time, and from food donations to toy drives, they have all been creative in working together to raise the spirits of their neighbours. Players have been using their leadership and teamwork skills to make a positive impact.
We encourage all players and teams to continue sharing their posts with us. Below are just some of the examples of what our teams have been doing and the causes they are raising for.
Recently our U15 A Blue team brought holiday cheer to five seniors in our community through the Secret Santa for Seniors program! Each gift bag was designed to help light up someone's season. The true MVP's are those who give back to their community! #WMHA pic.twitter.com/TxFlKNIUpm

The U18s are helping to spread a little cheer this Christmas by donating 30 mini sticks to the Durham Toy Drive.#highlandershockey pic.twitter.com/CvRJy778Zi
