Tell us about the deserving members of your hockey community

The OMHA Honour Award was established to honour a person who has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to minor hockey for a considerable period of time doing so of their own free will and not as part of a job or position for which they receive or received monetary consideration.

Volunteers are an extremely dedicated group of parents, community members and administrators that give their time to ensure a positive minor hockey experience for our young athletes. This outstanding group across the OMHA are the backbone of our centres.

Every bit of volunteerism makes an impact. Associations rely on a few to do the work of many.

Any OMHA minor hockey organization in good standing may nominate a person for the Honour Award by completing the nomination form stating the services the nominee has contributed to minor hockey.

How To Apply

  • Nominating Associations are requested to complete the application form and submit it, along with a letter of nomination and summary of the details of volunteer contribution to the local association, minor hockey, and community at large summary of the Nominee’s service.
  • Nomination must be endorsed by signing officer of the nominating Association Executive.
  • Nominations must submitted to the OMHA by 5:00 pm on February 26th, 2023.
