WELCOME TO THE 2023 OMHA CHAMPIONSHIPS

PRESENTED BY EGG FARMERS OF ONTARIO

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association is thrilled to announce the dates and locations for this year's Championships where teams will compete for the coveted #RedHats.

As we enter into the second half of the season teams across the province are ramping up for League Playoffs, which will again serve as qualifiers to determine who moves on to compete for an OMHA Championship.

WHERE YOU’LL BE PLAYING

The OMHA Championships will take place over four weekends: March 17-19, March 24-26, March 31-April 2 and April 7-9. They will be hosted in six locations around the province: Barrie, Halton Hills, Kingston, Oakville, Whitby and Windsor.

Round robin play will occur on the first two days, with the Semi-Finals and Championships being decided on the Sunday. Specific schedules will be released closer to the dates. The weekends will feature sponsor activations and gifts, excited crowds, official merchandise and live-streaming of games.

Schedules are posted and Event Gear is avaliable for purchase at OMHAChampionships.ca

More details on hotels and live-streaming will be announced closer to the date.

"We are excited for the return of the OMHA Championships this season," said Ian Taylor, Executive Director of the OMHA. "This is a special experience that teams can look forward to and ensures all of our players are involved in meaningful hockey right up until March and beyond."

"As egg farmers, we take great pride in supporting our communities, and that includes helping kids on their journey to athletic success," says Scott Helps, EFO Chair. “Much like farming, being part of a hockey team requires commitment and helps kids gain life skills such as responsibility and team work and we are thrilled to continue our partnership with the OMHA to empower these young Ontario athletes.”

We can’t wait for the OMHA Championship Weekends and look forward to catching all of the action at the rink!
