This 2-on-0 attack drill incorporates multiple game like scenarios into one drill. It works on clean defensive zones exits and offensive zone entries. There is a focus on timing and communication between goalies and forwards for crisp outlet passes to launch the offensive attack.

• Coach initiates drill with a shot on goal (a puck the goalie can handle).
• F1 and F2 jump into the zone to support the goalie who passes to the outlet man on the boards.
• F1 and F2 then attack 2-on-0.
• Vary the drill by adding a forward or one or two defenders.

• Players must communicate with goalie.
• Attack with speed and execute net drives.
• Timing is key.
