Players in the Seguin and Amherstview areas can now register for a special Hockey Canada Summer Camp.
This is the fifth year that the camp will be taking place in Seguin and the second edition in Amherstview. Registered Novice, Atom and Peewee players are eligible to sign up.
Players participating in this five-day Skills Camp will experience a variety of hockey and sport related activities throughout the span of the week. Each day will consist of two on-ice sessions focusing on skill development, skating, shooting, passing, stick handling and much more. The players will take part in multiple off-ice sessions per day, implementing different off-ice skills such as teamwork, respect and other Hockey Canada training.
This multi-sport camp is in conjunction with a number of other National and Provincial Sport Organizations. All participants will receive on-ice instruction as well as off-ice instruction from the experts in a variety of different sports. It is important for all children to participate in multiple sports and this is a great introduction that will cover the fundamentals of these sports. In prior years associations such as Rugby Ontario, Baseball Canada, the Ontario Volleyball Association, Ultimate Canada, Spikeball, Basketball Canada, Ontario Soccer Association, and Golf Association of Ontario have all contributed to the Hockey Canada Summer Camps.
The cost per child is $475 and includes a Hockey Canada Summer Camp Jersey, Camp T-Shirt, and gift at the end of each day.
