The Windsor Spitfires captured the Memorial Cup on Sunday evening with a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Erie Otters in the championship game.

With a 3-0 record in the round robin play, the Spitfires automatically clinched their spot in the finals. The Otters won a play-in game on Friday evening with the winner moving on to take on the Spitfires in the winner-take-all game.
The Memorial Cup is a four-team tournament comprised of the champions from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League as well as the host city. Both OHL representatives (Windsor and Erie) feature a number of OMHA grads making important contributions. Here’s how to cheer for the OMHA in the Memorial Cup.
