The OMHA is proud to present Home Ice powered by Under Armour, a new web series

WHITBY – The Ontario Minor Hockey Association is proud to present Home Ice powered by Under Armour, a new web series that will focus on the life of minor hockey players. The episodes will feature the Whitby Wildcats Minor Midget AAA team throughout the season as they navigate the balance between their lives on and off the ice in their Ontario Hockey League draft year.

The series will highlight aspects of minor hockey that go beyond the boards. Doing your best in school and being a positive member of the community are equally as important as scoring goals in building a complete hockey player. Home Ice will provide behind-the-scenes access into the personal lives of the team members including the family perspective.

“Home Ice will provide a behind the scenes look at the Minor Midget year and is one of the first video series of its kind in minor hockey,” said OMHA Executive Director Richard Ropchan. “The OMHA continues to showcase the talent and hard work of our minor hockey players in new and exciting ways while remaining a leader in developing good people.”

The Wildcats are coached by former Toronto Maple Leafs player and first round pick Rob Pearson. Home Ice will navigate his position behind the bench as a first-year head coach and how he handles the different challenges that will arise during the season.

Be sure to follow the OMHA online to stay up to date in the series and to catch each new episode as it is released.
