Players to Watch

Kurtis Evans (Central Ontario Wolves) - A big 6'2" right winger with speed to burn. Had a very impressive first tournament and opened a lot of scouts eyes. Plays a 200-foot game and will be relied upon to put up big numbers for the Wolves.

Tanner McEachern (Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs) - A strong puck carrier who creates lots of space with his ability to beat defenders one on one. He's a heads up player who is a very strong playmaking centre.

Players to Watch

Ryan Baux (Clarington Toros) - The 6-foot goalie is enjoying a stellar start to his second year of Midget AAA hockey. Baux provided the Toros with a great effort during the first tournament of the year, allowing one goal in four games, posting a 0.25 GAA and three consecutive shut outs. Baux is positionally sound goalie and always remains calm during all situations within the game. He excels in rebound control and has begun to assert himself as one of the top goalies in not only the ETA but the OMHA.

Kyle Kennery (Halton Hurricanes) - Kennery is a big, physical forward and has never been shy to engage in the physical side of the game. During the opening games of the season, Kennery has shown a different side to his game, scoring several goals in exhibition as well as two very timely goals in the pre-season tournament last weekend. Kennery will look to continue his hot start as Halton opens up their SCTA season this week with games against Niagara and Hamilton.
