Players to Watch

Forhan has a strong 2 way pivot and is not afraid to go straight to the net. He is the leader of the Express team; when he's on and plays physical style of hockey, his team typically follows suit. Forhan has had an extremely strong second half and is undoubtedly a top prospect in the OMHA.

Cerantola is a big power forward who is typically in on a lot of Oakville’s offence. He has quietly had an excellent season. He skates very well for a big man with a soft touch. There are lots to like with Cerantola and his season certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Players to Watch

Joey Berkopec – Oakville Rangers

Berkopec might be the fastest defenceman in the SCTA and usually shows his speed every time on this ice. His gap control and closing speed is above average, and if he does make a mistake, his speed almost always bails him out. Berkopec is not just a speedy defenceman; he is also a tough player to play against below the hash marks and has no problem joining the rush and trying to create offensive opportunities.

Mackenzie Warren – Quinte Red Devils

Warren is a smooth skating defenceman who seems to find himself on the right side of every physical collision his is involved with. As a puck moving defenceman, Warren is illusive enough to make the first defender miss and quickly move the puck ahead. Warren is a large reason the Red Devils have been near the top of the ETA all season and he will have to continue his strong play in the OMHA for them to knock off the top ranked Richmond Hill Coyotes.
