Players to Watch

Dunkley is an excellent skater with an elite level skill set to go with it. He is his team’s top offensive option and you should hear his name called early on in this year’s OHL Priority Selection.

Roach doesn't take any nights off and has found his scoring touch with 19 goals in 32 games. If he is at his best you will likely continue to watch the Wildcats push up the standings.

Players to Watch

Alex Samari – Brampton 45’s

The lone returning player to the 45’s has given the blue line some stability and has had a calming effect on a very young 45’s team. Samari shows great poise with the puck and while not flashy, always makes the right decision. Samari has also turned into one of the SCTA's top shut down defenceman, keying on the oppositions best players every night.

Brendan Browne – Markham Waxers

Browne is a speedy, 6’ plus forward that every team in midget hockey would love to have. Browne can play a physical, in your face style of hockey or has no problem changing gears and playing more of a finesse type of game. Browne’s unique skill set, mixed with his size has made him the driving force behind a strong Waxers team. If the Waxers are to qualify for the OMHA championship and get through the playoffs in a strong ETA, Browne will need to continue his strong play.
