Around this time of year, it can be easy to get wrapped up in making sure that everyone on your list has the gifts they want.
It is important to remember, however, that some members in our local communities, maybe even some of our teammates, can feel the financial pinch during these times.
We are so proud to share that many of our teams and players from across the Ontario Minor Hockey Association have been donating time, food and toys to charitable organizations during this holiday season. Below are a few examples.

Have any examples of what your team has done in the community? Tweet us @HometownHockey and remember to use #OMHA so we can add it to the list.
In addition, our friends at CCM Hockey are running a contest on their Instagram page where your team has the chance to win free gear for assisting in the local area.
