Several initiatives related to the growth and development of hockey across the province will be discussed during the 2015 OMHA Annual General Meeting

Several initiatives related to the growth and development of hockey across the province will be discussed during the Annual General Meeting which will officially get under way Saturday morning at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel in Richmond Hill. Voting delegates will consider thirty Notices of Motion. There will also be two elections for positions on the OMHA Board of Directors. 

On Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. CityTV’s Breakfast Television Host, Kevin Frankish will be the Masters of Ceremonies for the 2015 OMHA Dinner and Awards Ceremony.  The event will highlight accomplishments from the past year and recognizes individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the OMHA. Hockey Canada President and CEO , Tom Renney will be the evening's key note speaker.
 

At 11 a.m. on Saturday, sport radio personalities Andy Frost, the public address announcer of the Toronto Maple Leafs games [and host of the Psychedelic Psunday radio show on Toronto's Q107 FM] and media celebrity Don Landry will host the Parade of Champions, an event recognizing 50 OMHA championship teams. Photos of each team will be taken, so community media can contact Matt Rhodes to obtain copies for publication.

The OMHA will continue its service with educational programs for members Friday afternoon with a special Business of Hockey Workshop focusing on the development, risk management, marketing and membership services.
