Registration is now open for the 2015 OMHA Annual General Meeting [AGM] on Friday June 12-13th at the Sheraton Parkway North Hotel in Richmond Hill. 

Delegates from across the OMHA will meet to discuss the past year`s accomplishments, issues, initiatives and more. During these meetings, revisions to OMHA by-laws and regulations for the upcoming season are also addressed. 

The weekend will kick off with the Seventeenth OMHA Golf Tournament which will be held at Wooden Sticks. All proceeds from the tournament go towards the Minor Hockey Foundation of Ontario. Since the inaugural event, there has been over $70,000 raised to help support minor hockey in Ontario. 

Following the Golf Tournament, Association delegates will assemble and exchange ideas at various Business of Hockey Symposiums.The event will engage discussion on multiple issues surrounding the game of hockey. 

Friday evening will play host to the third annual OMHA Dinner and Awards evening. Breakfast Television host and minor hockey dad, Kevin Frankish will emcee the event that highlights the accomplishments from the past year and recognizes individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the OMHA. Tom Renney, Hockey Canada President and CEO will give a special address as this year's guest speaker.

The OMHA has once again offered the private sector and corporate Canada the opportunity to promote, display, sample their products or services at the Hometown Hockey Consumer Show taking place throughout the weekend. This year’s exhibitors include fundraisers, artists, equipment manufacturers, hotel chains, trophy manufacturers, restaurant franchises, financial services and memorabilia companies.

On Saturday morning, following the Annual General Meeting, over 75 OMHA Championship Teams will parade through the AGM in front of 4,500 people. Master of Ceremonies, Andy Frost and Don Landry will be on hand to announce each team and recognize the accomplishments from the past year of hockey.
