OMHA Announces Minor Midget AAA Top 5 Rankings Presented by CCM

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association has released the tenth edition of the Minor Midget AAA Top 5 Rankings Presented by CCM for the 2014-15 regular season. These rankings will be released on a bi-weekly schedule. The Red Devils responded well following their first regulation loss of the season, getting at least a point in their next 4 games to remain  atop of the table. With an impressive +128 goal differential it doesn’t look like anyone will be able to catch them this season. However, Peterborough and York Simcoe continue to stay right on the heels of the Red Devils and will make things interesting heading into the post season. Rounding out the top five are the Halton Hurricanes and a return from the Guelph Jr. Gryphons.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

James has led the surging Express since the injury to his partner Jacob Brayford. Elmhurst continues to make key saves and seems to always give his team an opportunity to win every game.

Holden had a very good showing at the SCTA Showcase a couple of weekends ago in St. Catharines and opened a lot of eyes with his speed and skill. He continues to score big goals for the Eagles who look to keep climbing up the standings.

Curtis has a nice set of hands around the net and keeps opposing teams honest when he's on the ice. He is a strong power forward who continues to improve each week.
