OMHA Announces Minor Midget AAA Top 5 Rankings Presented by CCM

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association has released the seventh edition of the Minor Midget AAA Top 5 Rankings Presented by CCM for the 2014-15 regular season. These rankings will be released on a bi-weekly schedule. Quinte continues to remain the only undefeated team left in the loop with only 2 ties in 24 games against Whitby and York Simcoe. Peterborough jumps into the 2nd position after continuing their strong play in the month of November putting up a 9-2-2 record in the last 13. Rounding out the top 5 are the York Simcoe Express, the Halton Hurricanes who continue their steady play of late and a newcomer the Barrie Colts who are winners of 8 of their last 10.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Morgan has been on a torrid pace of late with 10 points in his last 5 games. A 5 point game against Kingston has helped him surge into the top scoring leaders group.

One of the main reasons Southern Tier has catapulted into the honourable mentions. Phibbs has 27 points in only 18 games and has led the Admirals who are currently the hottest team in the SCTA with 4 wins in a row.

Stevens just gets it done anyway he can. He has 11 points in his last five games, seven of which are goals. Liam is one of the best pure skaters in the drafts and always is a challenge for opposing defenders.
