OMHA Announces Bantam AAA Top 5 Rankings Presented by CCM

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association has released the sixth edition of the Bantam AAA Top 5 Rankings Presented by CCM for the 2014-15 regular season. These rankings will be released on a bi-weekly schedule. For the first time this season the Jr. Bulldogs have held on to the top spot for consecutive editions of the rankings. Unbeaten in their last five, the Bulldogs seem to be finding their stride heading into the holiday season. Clipping at the heels of Hamilton are once again the boys from the North Central Predators. With a couple up and down games recently it will be interesting to see if the Predators can string together a few W’s to retake the top spot. Rounding out the top five spots are the York Simcoe Express, the Quinte Red Devils and the Southern Tier Admirals.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Marino Moro – Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs – Moro is an intuitive scorer who can wheel up the ice and make decisive offensive plays. He is a natural finisher who always finds a way to play very alert and unselfish hockey.

Blair Coffin – Southern Tier Admirals Blair has good size between the pipes. His net presence is second to none and he does an excellent job of squaring up to shooters eliminating much of the net for opposing shooters.

Riley McCutcheon – Clarington Toros – Riley has really developed this season into one of the most dominating forwards in the AAA loop. Blessed with great size, speed and elite hockey sense, McCutcheon has become a real driving force for the Toros. He competes hard on both sides of the puck and always seems to come up big in the moments where games are on the line.
