Following its Annual General Meeting in Richmond Hill, the Ontario Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce the members of its 2014 Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Rob Ring of Collingwood will serve his second year as President. Ring  has been involved in minor hockey since 1976 when he first started coaching. Over the past thirty-eight years he has held numerous positions within minor hockey, most recently Eastern District Vice-President with the OMHA.

Greig Baxter of Keswick was acclaimed as Regional Executive Member, Region 4 while Bob White of Welland moves in to the Position of Regional Executive Member, Region 2. Frank Palmer of Fonthil will move from his position of REM, Region 2 to become the Treasurer. Brian Stittle also  joins the OMHA Board as Trainer Technical Director. 

"We are delighted to welcome the new and returning members to the Board," said Richard Ropchan, Executive Director, Ontario Minor Hockey Association. "Their combined professional expertise, as well as passion for minor hockey, will undoubtedly help the OMHA continue to be a leader in minor hockey within the province and across the country. We'd also like to thank and recognize our outgoing Board members, Bill Rowney, Joe Rudnick and Darryl Bossence for their invaluable contributions to the Board."

 As part of the Annual General Meeting, the Ontario Minor Hockey membership considered and ratified several rules and regulation amendments.
