Score a Holiday Hat Trick with Club Hockey Canada

My life can be crazy, overwhelming, insane!  I work full time, have a long commute downtown from Aurora every day, and have a 5 year old girl and an 8 year old boy that both play A LOT of hockey.  Adding Holiday shopping into the mix is just about enough to put me over the edge!  It’s not that I am a scrooge, I love the holidays, but only after the presents are bought and wrapped, the decorations are up and hopefully the credit card bills are in check.

So when I received my Club Hockey Canada Holiday Newsletter this week, I began to formulate a brilliant plan for saving myself time, money and most importantly reducing my stress this holiday season.  I decided to score myself a Holiday Hat Trick!  Here’s how it did it:

1. I bought many of my holiday presents in the Club Hockey Canada online store.  They were delivered right to my home, and because I spent over $100, shipping was free.  I was extremely happy with all of my purchases….here’s what I bought.

  • Club Hockey Canada toques and vintage hoodies for my kids, niece and nephew who all play hockey.  They will love the Maple Leaf / hockey stick design, and the entire apparel line is Made in Canada, which is something I feel really good about!  I also bought myself the full zipper jacket to wear to the rink.  It’s great to see such a sleek and stylish design available for hockey moms.
  • Timex IronMan watch and Club Hockey Canada technical long sleeve t-shirt for my husband to wear while he’s coaching my son’s hockey.
  • Supershooter training aid for my daughter, who is just starting out in hockey, and needs the practice!
  • Chapters, SportChek and Lowe’s Gift Cards for teachers, friends, and other family members.

2.    With all my purchases, I earned PUCK BUCKS.  $152 worth of PUCK BUCKS!

3.    I will use the PUCK BUCKS I earned with my holiday shopping next season when I register my son or daughter for hockey.  That’s $152 off their registration fees with the Aurora Minor Hockey Association.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to do my holiday shopping with Club Hockey Canada this year.  The only thing I’d ask for next year is that they wrap the presents for me!

Thanks Club Hockey Canada!  Happy Holidays Everyone.
