The Coach Specialty Clinic Program is part of the OMHA Continuing Education Program [CEP] and has been designed to act as a supplementary coach education program to that of the Hockey Canada Coach Mentorship Program.
Specialty Clinics are 3-hour workshops that involve classroom and on-ice sessions. The instructional modules are based around newly created Hockey Canada resources that address player technical and tactical development as well as coaching effectiveness. The most important aspect is that the coaches learn how to teach.
