Tuesday, March 05, 2013 Richmond Hill, ON: - The Ontario Hockey Association, in partnership with Alliance Hockey, Cambridge Minor Hockey Association and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association are holding the inaugural OHA Cup in Cambridge, ON from March 7-10, 2013. Games will take place at Hespeler and Galt Arenas. The Championships will take place at Hespeler Arena on Sunday March 10, 2013. The OHA Cup is a prospect event that will help guide the aspirations of Major Midget Hockey players in Ontario. It has been created to provide a unique educational and hockey opportunity for Midget Hockey Players to explore the options they have to further their hockey careers, compete against some of the best players in their age category and showcase their talents to all levels of Junior, CIS and NCAA teams. Players will learn the next steps required to properly position themselves to transition from Minor to Junior Hockey, and have an opportunity to be scouted for the next level of competition, explore different options, teams and leagues available and what will be expected of them as they pursue higher levels of hockey and education. Currently we have 55 scouts registered to attend the tournament. Please find attached a copy of the schedule for the tournament.
