There’s no stopping the Avalanche

The Ancaster Avalanche Minor Peewee AE team has done it again, returning from the Wayne Gretzky annual tournament with gold medals in hand.
Undefeated in the preliminary round, the team fought hard to clinch a spot in the final. In the first game against the Brantford Saints, the Avalanche recorded a 2-1 victory with goalie AJ Scala named player of the game.
The second game versus Cambridge Hawks ended in a 3-3 tie with John-Paolo Casasanta earning player of the game honors.
The Avalanche then got by Brampton Snipers 4-1. Scala was again named player of the game.
Kyle Nash scored the game-winning goal in a 4-3 overtime semi-final win against the Hamilton Spitfires.
In the final against Caledon Hawks, the Avalanche won 5-4 win. Connor Fillion was player of the game.
