Monday, January 07, 2013 Halton, ON: - The Halton Hurricanes Minor Atom AAA team participated in the Toronto Junior Canadiens Cup on Dec. 27-29. The team played well and went 3-1 in the round robin putting them into 1st place in their division and advancing to the semi final round against Brantford 99’s. With hard work and determination, the team took the 4-2 win over Brantford. The Canes went up against the tournament host Toronto Junior Canadiens for the championship. It was an exciting final game, with both teams playing hard. The game ended in a 5-4 final for Halton. All team members showed an amazing display of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership! Congratulations to all the players and coaches!
