Midget AAA All-Stars Set to Shine In Barrie This Weekend

Richmond Hill, ON:  -  The Ontario Minor Hockey Association [OMHA] and Eastern AAA League [ETA] are pleased to announce the ETA Midget AAA All-Star game featuring forty of the top Midget players in the ETA at the Holly Community Centre this Saturday December 1st. Players are selected from the East and West Divisions of the ETA.

A Skills Competition will begin at 10:30 AM where players will compete in skills such as puck control relays, fastest skater, pass and score, and a breakaway relay. The All-Star Game is slated to begin at 1:30 PM on Pad One and will be aired on Rogers TV following the event.

Notable players competing in the festivities include Ryan Taylor, 2012 London Knights 5th round pick, currently playing with the Clarington Toros and TJ Melancon, Saginaw Spirit 12th round pick now playing with the Oshawa Minor Generals.

The participating clubs are the Central Ontario Wolves, Peterborough Minor Petes, Quinte Red Devils, Kingston Junior Frontenacs, Barrie Junior Colts, Ajax-Pickering Raiders, Markham Waxers, Clarington Toros, North Central Predators, South Central Coyotes, Oshawa Generals, Whitby Wildcats, and the York Simcoe Express.

Twenty of these forty players will be selected from this group to compete in the OMHA Midget AAA All-Star Game on January 26th at the Seymour Hannah Sports Complex in St. Catharines against the best of the South Central AAA League [SCTA] All-Stars.
