Wednesday, November 28, 2012 Newmarket, ON: - The Newmarket Redmen Bantam AE team won the Dan Pulham Memorial tournament in London this past weekend in dramatic style. With the score tied at 0-0 vs Richmond Hill after regulation time and a ten minute overtime period the championship was decided in a shootout. Newmarket scored twice to seal the win 2-0. With tenacious team defense, solid offense and stellar goaltending the Redmen where a perfect 5-0 for the tournament. Thanks to the coaching staff and manager for organizing and preparing the team for a fun and memorable weekend. Also thanks to the tournament organizers for a well run tourney. Best of luck for the rest of the season boys!
