Richmond Hill Stars Atom ‘A’ Win Festival of Lights Thanksgiving Tournament

The Richmond Hill Stars Atom A team traveled to Niagara Falls, New York to participate in the 20th Anniversary of the Festival of Lights Thanksgiving Tournament from November 23rd to 25th, 2012. Backed by solid goal-tending, a tenacious defense, and overwhelming offense, the RH Stars Atom A team went undefeated winning the championship final game 10 to 0 over the Georgetown Raiders.
This is the second tournament win this year for these talented kids and congratulations are in order for their efforts thus far. Congrats to the coaching staff as well and the team manager Stephanie Smirle for coordinating and planning this event during a busy U.S. Thanksgiving weekend without any glitches. Special thanks to all the supportive parents and fans of the team for making this a successful & fun trip.
