Monday, September 24, 2012 Belleville, ON: - During pre-season "Development Day" held by the BMHA, the Belleville Minor Bantam AE Jr. Bulls set lofty goals, one of which was to be successful in their tournaments. They did just that at the Earlybird hosted by the Uxbridge Minor Hockey Association. Game 1 saw the Jr. Bulls scoring in the dying minutes to edge a very talented team from Caledon. Game 2 pitted the Bulls against their Lakeshore rivals the Jr. Generals with the Bulls coming out 4-2 victors. In Game 3 a strong Georgina squad scored with time running out to defeat the Bulls 1-0. The semi-final match-up was a repeat with Caledon and the score was just as close as the first encounter, this time Belleville coming out 2-1 victors. The finals pitted the Jr. Bulls once again versus their long time rivals from Oshawa, but once again Belleville prevailed, winning 4-2 to take the championship banner home. Team members include: Tyler Quance, Liam Raycroft, Wyatt Brennan, Colum Joyce, Rylan Levean, Matthew Petto, Max Hoskin, Nicholas Kyte, Ben Stoliker, Brayden Peters, Nolan Parliament, Dawson Closs, Ben Smith, Cam Bardell, Lucas Gagne, Jason Berry and Rylan Young.
