Tuesday, November 17, 2009 Georgina, ON: - On the weeked of November 6-8th 2009, the Georgina Blaze Minor Peewee AE team travelled to Flamborough to compete in their second tournament of the year. Having won the Uxbridge Stars Early Bird Tournament in September the team was eager to rise to the challenge in Flamborough. Working hard as a team and coming up against some excellent competition the team was able to take the championship in the 2009/2010 Flamborough Sabres AE Tournament after a thrilling double overtime final game. Congratulations to all the boys for their hard work and determination. A special thank you to the Flamborough Sabres Minor Hockey Association for a first rate tournament.
